Childhood Obesity Initiative — New Coverage for RDs

ADA is one of several medical groups, health insurance organizations and employers participating in a new Alliance Healthcare Initiative that offers health benefits to prevent, assess and treat childhood obesity. The Initiative will provide children and their families with visits to registered dietitians as part of their health insurance.
